I think it is sad, I think it is a cop-out and I think that this was a marriage that wouldn't have made it regardless. I think the worse thing anyone can do is "leave" someone when they are deployed. I have heard my husband tell me time and time again about his Marines getting "Dear Johns" in theater. Its cold, and not easy for the warfighter.
