How to Leave a Soldier... your take:

So there was this letter, posted on salon.com... by a former MilSpouse, talking about the demise of her marriage in the face of being a military family. I personally would call it incendeary and self-serving and sad... and a missed opportunity, but I think you all should read it and throw in your two cents over at the other blog I write for: LeftFace. There has been a lot of great debate and talk about it and I'd love to see what y'all think about it too!

Go check it out!

Ha! I read that letter too. And funny thing is I read it right after I read you previous blog. I think it is sad, I think it is a cop-out and I think that this was a marriage that wouldn't have made it regardless. I think the worse thing anyone can do is "leave" someone when they are deployed. I have heard my husband tell me time and time again about his Marines getting "Dear Johns" in theater. Its cold, and not easy for the warfighter. I wrote the letter off as another person blaming everything and everyone else for the demise of her marriage.
